AnnotationHerein we present novel types of generation 1-3 carbosilane dendrimers (CS-DDMs) modified with various types of peripheral phosphonium groups one type of ammmonium terminated CS-DDM for comparison. Ammonium and phosphonium peripheral groups were synthesized by quartenization of trimethyl amine or by coupling of a appropriate phosphone to iodopropyl-terminated dendrimers.
