AnnotationA new type of intercalates of barium phenylphosphonate with alkanols and alkanediols was prepared by precipitation from a saturated aqueous solution of barium phenylphosphonate and the corresponding alcohol. The structure of ethanol intercalate was determined by single crystal X ray diffraction.
