ITER bude vyrábět energii z fúze 500 MW a budou testovány technologie materiálů a fyzika režimů, nezbytné pro komerční využití energie z jaderné syntézy. Description in English Nuclear fusion is the energy source of the Sun and all other stars. Time is coming when nuclear fusion will produce electricity. Nuclear fusion is an inexhaustible emission-free and carbon-free energy source. The technical feasibility of fusion energy will be demonstrated in the ITER project. The International thermonuclear experimental reactor ITER, currently under
construction in France, is the largest world's scientific project on Earth. ITER will produce fusion power of 500 MW and will be testing technologies, materials, and physics regimes necessary for the commercial utilization of fusion energy. According to the plans of the EU and other countries, the first fusion power plant will be built until 2050. The Mastery of sun booklet describes the state of the art of developing a fusion power plant.Workplace Institute of Plasma Physics Contact Vladimíra Kebza, kebza@ipp.cas.cz, Tel.: 266 052 975 Year of Publishing 2017
