Annotation	Termochemická konverze paliv (spalování, zplyňování či pyrolýza) je stále základním kamenem současné energetiky i přes rapidní rozvoj nových technologií využívajících přímo energii slunce, vítr, geotermální energii, apod. Přestože je termochemická konverze využívána jako zdroj energie již po staletí, lze v posledních letech zaznamenat řadu inovací zejména směrem ke zvyšování účinnosti, snižování dopadu na životní prostředí, využití nových paliv či vývoj nových technologických celků a přístupů.
Description in English	Despite the rapid development of new technologies using direct solar energy, wind, geothermal energy, etc. plays the thermochemical conversion of fuels, i.e. combustion, gasification and pyrolysis, still the role of cornerstone in the current energetics, although it is used as an energy source for centuries. Lately, a variety of innovations was implemented heading towards increasing the efficiency, reducing the environmental impact, introducing new fuels and the development of new technological systems and approaches.
