Annotation	The science of human nature is the centre-piece of Hume's philosophy and it is, he tells us, 'the only solid foundation for the other sciences'. This conference seeks to understand Hume's science of man from the perspective not only of his epistemology and philosophy of mind, but also of his ethics, political theory, history and his reflections on natural religion.
