    AnnotationHere we report synthesis of new library of CB-DDM with both ammonium and phosphonium groups on the periphery. To evaluate the effect of substitution of substitution of nitrogen atom by phosphorus we prepared two series of identical CS_DDM in 1st – 3rd generations which differs only in onium groups (N or P). Comparative study of their cytotoxicity, the ability to form dendriplexes and their transfections through cell membrane will be presented. The results are supported by computational modeling.
