AnnotationPředneseno na:6th Central European Symposium on Plasma Chemistry,IT, 06.-10.09.,Bressanone, This contribution is focused on the analysis of different Boltzmann distributions within population densities of various atomic and ionic exited states that we have detected by optical emission spectroscopy (OES) in an expanding thermal plasma jet. The measurements were performed on a plasma jet generated by the hybrid water-argon dc arc torch at the pressures several kPa. We suppose that at such near atmospheric pressure our plasma jet is still close to the kinetic equilibrium. At the atmospheric pressure, the chemical equilibrium is due to the big radial gradient and axial velocity of the plasma jet not fulfilled, but it does not have an impact on the interpretation of OES results. The problem starts when we tried to use this method at near atmospheric pressure
