    AnnotationThe effect of phonons on electrical resistivity has been simulated by considering random displacements of atomic nuclei from their equilibrium positions together with a frozen-potential approach. The developed theory has been applied successfully to late transition metals (Fe, Ni, Rh, Pd, Pt).
