    AnnotationWe report the overwintering of Uranotaenia unguiculata adult females in Central Europe
    (Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria). This finding suggests a potential mode of winter persistence of putative novel lineage of West Nile virus in the temperate regions of Europe.
