AnnotationPředneseno na:11th International Workshop on Electric Probes in Magnetized Plasmas (IWEP),Sozopol, BG, 16-19.09.2015, The correct knowledge of the plasma potential Φpl and the electron energy distribution function (EEDF) is crucial in the investigation of transport processes in the scrape-off-layer (SOL) of the tokamaks, as well as energy flux flows to the walls. It is, however, not easy to evaluate these quantities in the complex plasma environment of the SOL, with a presence of a strong magnetic field and many particle-particle interactions. In our paper, we shall present the results of Φpl and EEDF measurements in the SOL of the ISTTOK tokamak. The measurements were performed using a newly designed probe head attached to the horizontal manipulator. The probe consists of two Langmuir probes, one oriented parallel and one perpendicular to the magnetic field lines in order to better evaluate the influence of the magnetic field on the EEDF.The current-voltage characteristics obtained
