    AnnotationWithout chiral compounds could not be living organisms, they could not run metabolic processes. A new method for selective separation of enantiomers by membrane processes taking advantage of ionic liquids is present. The different kinds of membranes which contain a chiral compound acting as a selective carrier for one of the enantiomers were tested.
