AnnotationThin layer electrodes with nanoparticle structure can be prepared by many series of methods. The most commonly used method is the sol–gel technique utilizing the molecular templates. This technique offers approaches to the synthesis of metal oxides with controlled structure, morphology, particles size and even the chemical composition of the final material. This study is focused on the thin sol-gel TiO2/ITO electrode preparation and on the characterisation of their structural and photo-electrochemical properties by series of physical and electrochemical methods.
