    AnnotationComplete set of elastic coefficients of cubic austenite were measured from above Curie temperature down to martensitic transformation in demagnetized state and at magnetic saturation. These elastic measurements were complemented by determination of magnetostriction, which exhibited a peak at premartensite transformation. From these experiments the fundamental magnetoelastic coupling coefficient b1 wes determined.
