Kompozice sestává z acetylovaného maltodextrinu (A), chemicky modifikovaného škrobu (B) o hmotnostním poměru A/B nejméně 1/20 a nejvýše 20/1, přičemž acetylovaný maltodextrin (A) je produkt reakce hydrolyticky nebo enzymaticky odbouraného škrobu o dextrózovém ekvivalentu o hodnotě 10 až 25 s acetanhydridem a stupeň substituce výsledného acetylovaného maltodextrinu je nejméně 2,0 a nejvýše 3,0 a chemicky modifikovaný škrob (B) je acetát škrobu o stupni substituce 0,6 až 3,0, nebo acetát benzylétheru škrobu o stupni substituce 0,6 až 3,0 a molárním poměru benzylových a acetátových skupin 1:30 až 1:1, nebo je směsí acetátu škrobu a acetátu benzylétheru škrobu v libovolném poměru. Description in English The present invention relates to a biologically degradable composition based on a chemically modified starch and maltodextrin acetate, which forms a homogeneous thermoplastic mixture. The composition of the present invention consists of acetylated maltodextrin (A), chemically modified starch (B) with a weight ratio A/B at least 1/20 and at the most 20/1, wherein the acetylated maltodextrin (A) is a reaction product of hydrolytically or enzymatically degraded starch with a value of dextrose equivalent in the range of 10 to 25 with acetanhydride and the substitution degree of the resulting acetylated maltodextrin is at least 2.0 and at the most 3.0. The chemically modified starch (B) is a starch acetate with substitution degree in the range of 0.6 to 3.0, or a benzyl ether starch acetate with substitution degree in the range of 0.6 to 3.0 and molar ration of benzyl and acetate groups in the range of 1:30 to 1:1, or it can be a mixture of starch acetate and benzyl ether starch acetate in an arbitrary ratio.
