AnnotationA sample pretreatment device based on supported liquid membranes was in-line coupled to commercial capillary electrophoresis instruments for direct analysis of formate in untreated blood samples. The pretreatment devices are compatible with CE autosampler carousels, disposable, easy to manipulate and allow for rapid (less than 4 min) diagnosis of methanol intoxication.
