AnnotationRecent data point to nuclear functions of actin-binding proteins traditionally known to function in the cytoplasm. Recent mostly unpublished data on actin-interactin protein myosin I and its functional partners, as well as on actin-binding proteins functioning apparently independently of polymeric actin in the cell nucleus, were shown based on the findings of the presenter's laboratory.
