[NR222][Ntf2] within R = 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, or 14) will be discussed. These ILs were selected for their potential applications as reaction media in stereoselective hydrogenations using Ru-BINAP catalyst, as they contribute to a better yield of the required enantiomer. Volumetric properties (densities and molar volumes) and viscosities of dried ILs were carried out using pycnometric method and a dynamic rheometer (AR 1000 rheometer using a conical geometry). The experimental measurements took place at atmospheric pressure at temperatures between 293.15 and 363.15 K.
