    AnnotationThe green algal order Chaetophorales is comprised of many genera and species that have solely been described based on the various morphological characters. However, in our study it has been demonstrated that several of those morphological characters are inadequate to determine taxonomic as well as evolutionary relationships of the entities within this order.
