    AnnotationKapitola v knize podává přehled politických, hospodářských a kulturních styků mezi Čechy a Slovinci v období od středověku až do současnosti. Nejintenzivnější byly tyto styky v 19. a na začátku 20. století, kdy Češi a Slovinci společně žili v rámci habsburské monarchie. V současné době se daří mezi Českou republikou a Slovinskem rozvíjet zejména ekonomické kontakty, intenzivní je také vzájemná spolupráce v rámci EU a NATO.
    Description in EnglishThis chapter of the book presents an overview of the political, economic and cultural relations between Czechs and Slovenians from the Middle Ages to today. These relations were closest in the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, when Czechs and Slovenians both lived under the Habsburg monarchy. Today the Czech Republic and Slovenia have succeeded in developing economic contacts as well close cooperation within the framework of the EU and NATO.
