AnnotationSeismic loading of underground spaces of Jeroným mine in 2008 was very low until 6 October 2008. From this date, significant seismic loading occurred because of a very intensive seismic swarm that started in West Bohemia (Nový Kostel area near Kraslice). The source area was about 25 km from the mine. Induced vibrations did not evoke visible damages in underground spaces. In sum 451 earthquakes from Nový Kostel area were recorded in seismic station named JER1 within 6 Oct. –10 Dec., 2008. The most intensive shock occurred on 14 Oct (21:00); maximum value of component velocity reached 0.435 mm.s-1
