Temporally and spatially resolved measurements of the particle velocity and acceleration based on optical tracking the particle trajectory are complicated due to high plasma luminosity. We developed a new method to track the particles in the plasma jet based on illuminating the particles by a strong pulse of white light and capturing the scattered light from two perpendicular direction by two multi-exposure CCD cameras equipped with a shared rotating mirror unit and two auxilinary mirrors. The light pulse is generated by a capacitive discharge in a xenon flash lamp illuminating unit.
