Description in English This book is an introduction to mathematical logic intended for high school students and wider public. Main concepts of logic are introduced informally and explained using many examples, puzzles and exercises. The three chapters of the book cover the predicate calculus, the predicate calculus and theorems on completeness of first order logic and incompleteness of arithmetical theories. The text is complemented by a brief description of nonclassical logics and a mention of the history of logic.
