AnnotationAn application of the Balancing Domain Decomposition by Constraints (BDDC) method to the Stokes problem is presented. It is based on our parallel implementation that has been developed for problems of linear elasticity. We have verified on a number of experiments for both 2D and 3D flows that the approach is practically applicable for the Stokes problem, and thus only minor changes of the computational code are required. Results for a 3D extension of the problem of lid driven cavity are presented.
