The direct deposition of stoichiometric tin dioxide, tin monoxide and mixed tin/titanium dioxide is demonstrated. Structural changes at 300 degrees C and 500 degrees C in both vacuum and air are studied by means of XRD and Raman spectroscopy. Transmission electron microscopy shows that the nanoparticles possess a mean diameter about 40 nm.
