Annotation	Článek se zabývá vývojem vzdělávání učitelek v českých zemích, pozicí učitelek v průběhu posledních let Rakousko-uherské říše a vznikem a významem učitelských organizací. Na základě rozboru textů v Časopise učitelek jsou vylíčeny změny v učitelské profesi, které s sebou přinesl vznik Československé republiky.
Description in English	The paper deals with the development of the education of women teachers in the Czech lands, the position of women teachers during the last few years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the creation and importance of women's teachers associations. It depicts the transformations in the teaching profession brought about by the creation of the Czechoslovak Republic, basing itself primarily on an analysis ot the Women Teachers Journal.
