AnnotationThe knowledge of solid–liquid(-liquid) equilibria (SLLE) is important in many fields of industrial chemistry (e.g. design of crystallization processes, safe operation of pipelines etc.). Acquisition of experimental SLLE data is prerequisite for the improvement of pertinent predictive models. SLLE data can directly be used for the design of crystallization processes and, in particular, for selecting the suitable solvents for extractive crystallization processes.
