Byla sledována přítomnost živočichů v sektorech s potravou, přímo na potravě a rozložení exkrementů. Přímá konzumace potravy byla vyhodnocena z makrofotografií pomocí počítačové analýzy obrazu. V předběžných testech stejnonožci prokazatelně konzumovali pouze oba druhy řas. Ostatní sledované parametry ukázaly, že se stejnonožci pohybovali poněkud častěji v blízkosti nabízených řas. Sektory s ostatními potravami byly méně navštěvovány než by odpovídalo jejich ploše. Description in English Two species of algae (Protosiphon botryoides, Chlamydomonas cf. macrostellata), four microscopic fungi (Arthrinium phaeospermum, Paecillium lilacinum, Clonostachys rosea f. rosea, Penicillium vulpinum) and two undetermined species of yeasts were offered as a food to cave isopods Mesoniscus graniger in cafeteria (multiple-choice) feeding preference tests arranged on Petri dishes. Presence of animals inside the sector with particular food, directly on the food, and distribution of faecal pellets were monitored. Direct consumption of microbial cultures was evaluated from macro-photos using PC image analysis. Only the two species of algae were consumed by isopods. The other monitored parameters showed that isopods moved mainly in the vicinity of offered algae. The sectors containing another kind of food were visited to a lesser extent.
