AnnotationHeavy metal cations were extracted from various samples on application of electric field into a lumen of a porous hollow fiber impregnated with suitable liquid membrane. Aqueous extracts were directly used for injection into CE-C4D, whereas matrix components were efficiently retained on the liquid membrane and did not interfere with subsequent analyses.
