AnnotationNefotochemické zhášení fluorescence je proces, který účinně a bezpečně disipuje nadměrnou světelnou energii absorbovanou fotosyntetickými anténami. V této práci popisujeme rychlé a intenzivní NPQ.
Description in EnglishIn this work we describe photoprotective NPQ and its regulation in alga Chromera velia. NPQ in C. velia is connected with the unusually fast (in comparison to vascular plants) violaxanthin to zeaxanthin exchange that is driven by the buildup of the transthylakoid proton gradient. The observed intensive NPQ can efficiently dissipate the excessive energy absorbed by C. velia grown under high light conditions
