    AnnotationThe paper deals with a quick method of laboratory evaluation of granite matrix porosity. Preliminary tests using ultrasound were applied to the three Bohemian Massif granite samples. Optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and mercury porosimetry were applied to match the data.
