Annotation
Článek presentuje tři možnosti inovace tavicího procesu skel, které vedou ke snížení měrné spotřeby energie na tavení a ke zvýšení výkonnosti procesu. 1. Její aplikace vede k nalezení výhodných typů proudění vedoucích ke snížení měrné spotřeby energie a ke zvýšení tavicí výkonnosti prostoru.
Description in English
The article brings three approaches which are promising for innovation of the glass melting process from the point of view of its specific energy consumption and performance. 1. The application of the centrifugal force enhances the kinetics of bubble separation from the melt provided the specific conditions preventing bubble dissolution are introduced. 2. The kinetics of both sand dissolution and bubble removal may be improved by the combination of sulphates and a reducing agent. The microconvection due to bubble nucleation and growth coming from sulphur chemical reaction accelerates the sand dissolution and the same reactions shift the refining optimum to lower temperatures. 3. The application of the newly introduced quantity, the utilization of the melting space, enables the quantitative evaluation of the glass flow character from the point of view of melting phenomena and setting up the glass flow types ensuring low specific energy consumption and high melting performance.
