Annotation
Pomocí matematického modelu chování částic sklářského písku a chování bublin byly vypočteny hodnoty využití tavicího prostoru při nastavení různých typů proudění. Byla nalezena struktura cirkulačního proudění s vysokým využitím tavicího prostoru a diskutovány možnostu zobecnění získaných modelových výsledků. Práce chce přispět ke konstrukci nových tavicích prostorů a optimalizaci dosavadních.
Description in English
The article presents derivation and application of a new relative quantity - the utilization of a melting space - for the processes of dissolution of small particles and inhomogeneities, as well as for the process of bubble removal. Besides kinetics of the melting processes, the utilization of the space appears the second important quantity determining the specific energy consumption and melting performance of a continuous melting space. By applying a simple model melting space and typical melting values, the relation is illustrated between the utilization of the space and the character of glass flow which sets inside of the space due to working flow and circulation flows evokes by temperature gradients. The type of combined melt flow is published, distinguished by high utilization of the space for both processes. The results are particularly focused on the design of novel melting spaces, however, they should also help the optimization of existing melting equipments.
