Annotation	Kapitola je metodologickým doplňkem studie. Její autoři představují geoinformační systémy a možnosti jejich využití v různorodých sociálních analýzách, zejména v analýzách lokálního rozvoje. Podrobně se věnují využití geoinformačních systémů ve statistických analýzách obsažených v druhé kapitole studie – výpočtu dostupnosti obcí individuální automobilovou dopravou a identifikaci prostorově oddělených nesamostatných sídel.
Description in English	The chapter forms a methodological supplement to the study. The authors describe geoinformation systems and their possible uses in various types of social analyses, especially analyses of local development. The authors focus on the use of geoinformation systems in the statistical analyses contained in the second chapter of the study – calculating the traffic accessibility of municipalities and identifying individual settlements.
