Na unikátním souboru anonymizovaných individuálních údajů o residenční migraci v roce 2004 je ukázána migrační strategie různých socio-demografických skupin obyvatel. Zároveň je testováno, které socio-ekonomické charakteristiky obcí jsou významné pro rozhodování různých skupin obyvatel stěhovat se právě z nebo do těchto obcí. Jevy jsou sledovány na území celé ČR v prostorových dimenzích město-suburbium-venkov a také v regionálním pohledu. Description in English The paper focuses on residential migration within the Czech Republic, mainly on the social and demographic structure of migrants. We show migration strategies of different socio-demographic groups of migrants on a unique data set of the individual migration from the year 2004. The analysis shows as well which municipal characteristics determine the migration decision of different groups of migrants. We use twofold spatial dimension for the analysis consisting of the urban-suburban-rural perspective and regional centre-periphery perspective.
