Annotation	Text nabízí sociologický popis filmového diváka na základě dat z dotazníkových šetření. Data ukazují, že české filmové diváctví je poměrně silně vázáno na sociální strukturu, a to jak na strukturu vertikální (definovanou proměnnými jako je vzdělání nebo postavení na trhu práce) tak i horizontální (kterou určuje především věk, pohlaví a místo bydliště). Kromě aktuální společenské pozice respondenta má významný vliv i to z jaké rodiny respondent pochází (například zda měli jeho rodiče vysokoškolské vzdělání).
Description in English	The paper presents a sociological description of Czech cinemagoers (both contemporary and those of the late 1970s and early 1990s) based on survey research. Data reveal that Czech film spectatorship is relatively closely tied to social structure, both vertical (defined by variables such as education or profession) and horizontal (determined predominantly by age, gender and geographical location). Apart from their social position, respondents are significantly influenced by the character of their families (e. g. whether their parents are university-educated).
