Description in English The discovery of immense deposits of silver near Kutná Hora at the end of the 13th century was essential reason for the monetary reform of Wenceslas II in 1300. The monetary reforom resulted in establishing the most renowned coin in Bohemia in the Middle Ages – the Prague groschen.
