The Pr:SYBO single crystals with dimension of diam.2.0x30 mm were grown by micro-pulling down method with radio frequency heating system. The emission bands at 280–300 nm and 608 nm correspond to 5d-4f transition and 4f-4f transition of Pr3+, respectively.
