Description in English The contribution deals with the latest publications of German and Czech historians (e.g. Kurt A. Huber, Daniel Langhans, Rainer Bendel, Rudolf Grulich, Emil Valasek, Ines Luft, Jaroslav Šebek and others) on the issue of Sudeten German catholicism in the years 1918-1945, i.e. on the formation of its modern identity and distinctive spirituality, on the development of its modern religious and political institutions and on the perceptions of national issues in general, from the early 1930s primarily of the German national socialism.
