Annotation	Pašijový cyklus sestávající z deseti obrazů v životní velikosti, byla vytvořen v letech 1670–1674. Malby byly exponovány v jezuitském kostele sv. Mikuláše na Malé Straně, a nikoliv v přilehlém profesním domě. Výjevy nelze jednoznačně vztáhnout k jezuitským textům a náboženským praktikám, v tomto smyslu neukazují nic specifického. Restaurování děl ukázalo působivost Škrétova nepřekombinovaného řešení a jeho koncentraci na zobrazení vnitřních pohnutek konajících osob; malby ukazují velmi osobní Škrétův přístup v posledních letech jeho umělecké kariéry.
Description in English	The Passion Cycle, comprising of ten live-size paintings, was painted between 1670–1674. It was displayed in the Jesuit church of St. Nicolas in the Lesser Town in Prague, and not closed in the Professed House. The scenes can not be related directly to Jesuit texts and religious practices without some reservations; the individual paintings make no specific allusion to Jesuit contribution. After restoration, they are impressive for their economy of means and their concentration on the inner driving forces of the figures, and shows very personal attitude of Karel Škréta in his last years.
