AnnotationAn extremely wide spectrum of the experimental results of the grain boundary self-diffusivities in nickel was published in the literature. By using two approaches based on the empirical correlations and rules, the purpose of this study is to theoretically estimate the grain boundary (GB) self-diffusivities in nickel. The obtained dependences are compared with one another as well as with the literature experimental data.
