Oba byli autory náboženských spisů, jimiž se podíleli na konstruování historických tradic v katolickém náboženském životě v Českém království. Description in English The study introduces its readers into issues connected with Czech Catholic patriotism at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, on the example of two distinguished prelates - the provost of the metropolitan chapter Jiří Barthold from Braitenberk, known as Pontanus (+ 1614), and the dean of the same chapter, Kašpar Arsenius from Radbuza (+ 1629). Both were authors of religious writings, with which they contributed to building the historical tradition of the Catholic religion in the Czech kingdom.
