AnnotationThe succession runs towards pine forest under present environmental conditions. For more than 100 years after establishment of pines, the succession is unidirectional, certain divergence was observed only after app.130 years in the composition of the herb layer depending especially on site moisture. The obvious vegetation heterogeneity in the drift-sand area is given by different starting points for vegetation establishment on different relief types. Thus, the succession exhibits asynchronous features.
