    AnnotationCílem textu je zachycení některých aspektů proměňujícího se akademického prostředí v České republice. Studie je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu, který byl proveden na sociálněvědné fakultě jedné z českých universit. Text je zaměřený na doktorský studijní program, který chápe jako počáteční fázi akademické dráhy a zároveň se text se soustředí na to, jak je doktorský program integrovaný do akademického provozu zkoumané instituce a její organizace v širším rámci transformace českého vysokého školství.
    Description in EnglishThe aim of this text is to capture some aspects of changing academic environment in the Czech Republic. The study is based on qualitative research done at a faculty of social sciences at one Czech university. Specifically, it is concerned with the doctoral study programme as a part of academic career of early stage researchers, while at the same time focusing on how the PhD programme is integrated into the academic traffic of the researched institution and its organization within the broader frame of the transformation of Czech higher education.
