AnnotationAttempt at ecotons differentiation (in different plant associations) was made pursuant to study of the plant species structure in different landscapes of the Czech Republic, partly in Ukraine and Romania. Their differentiation was made based on variable aspects: according to origin and development, according to lifetime, according to position on relief, according to spatial structure, according to sharpness of transition, plant species variability and according to measure of resemblance of the plant species stucture of ecoton and surrounding plant associations. Net of ecotons in existent cultural landscape is denser than potential nature landscape generally. Studied ecotons are often short-term ecotons to ephemerous ecotons that do not correspond by plant species structure to potential nature plant associations. Plant species structure classification of ecotons may be one of the methods of the intensity antropogenic influent classification of the landscape.
