The main objective was isolation and characterization of manganese-dependent peroxidase (MnP) isoenzyme (pI 4.8) exhibitng the highest activity. Optimization of the enzyme production and isolation procedure covering anion exchange chromatography (Mono Q) was performed. The purified protein was subjected to LC-MSMS characterization which provided information on the amino acid sequence as well as the glycosylation Workplace Institute of Microbiology Contact Eliška Spurná, eliska.spurna@biomed.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 231 Year of Publishing 2011
