    AnnotationAccurate setting of position based on thermoelastic effect produced by induction heating is suggested. Its controllability is reached by supplementary friction clutches that hold the dilatation element in the required position. The paper presents the arrangement of the device, its mathematical model and way of its numerical solution. The operation properties of the device are illustrated on an example whose results are discussed.
