AnnotationThis paper describes detection of microcystin (MC) using a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor. MC is a cyanotoxin produced by several bloom-forming cyanobacteria genera. It was demonstrated that the reported SPR biosensor is capable of detecting the MC, below the provisional guideline value of 1 µg L-1 proposed by the World Health Organization for drinking water.
