AnnotationIn our study, we focused on ecotoxicological (algicidal) properties of four groups of isoquinoline alkaloids, namely: berberine, coptisine, protopine, magnoflorine, chelidonine, sanguinarine, chelerythrine and chelirubine. The best results was pefrormed by sanguinarine, which toxicity (EC50) against alga Scenedesmus quadricauda was found to be 42 ug/L. On the other hand, alkaloids magniflorine, chelidonine and protopine showed pure toxicity (EC50 was found to be > 1mg/L).
