Description in English The study deals with the development of the pottery in the heart of the Central Europe at the turn of the Early and High Middle Age. Until the beginning of the 13th century achieves the traditional pottery its last stage and at that time the strong influence of the Lower Austrian ceramic production begins. This process was connected with the arrival of the settlers from this area and the structure - change of the whole settlements including the foundations of the communal towns. The „new pottery“, more differential as to the vessels-typology and morhology and more advanced as to the technology, replaced the traditional production mostly until the end of the 13th century. The longest used traditional ceramic-product are the store vessels.
