Annotation	V Evropě bylo doposud zjištěno 8 virů přenosných komáry na člověka: 5 z nich je autochtonních (Alphavirus Sindbis, Flavivirus West Nile, a orthobunyaviry Ťahyňa, Inkoo, a Batai), zatímco 3 jsou alochtonní (exotické, avšak do Evropy importovatelné: Alphavirus Chikungunya, a flaviviry dengue a žluté zimnice). Dalšími nemocemi přenosnými komáry jsou v Evropě dirofilarióza a potenciálně i malárie. Epidemiologická surveillance (bdělost, dohled) komáry přenosných nakažlivých onemocnění člověka je proto doporučitelná.
Description in English	A total of eight mosquito-borne viruses pathogenic for man have been detected in Europe: five autochthonous (Alphavirus Sindbis, Flavivirus West Nile, and orthobunyaviruses Ťahyňa, Inkoo, and Batai), and three allochthonous (exotic, but importable: Alphavirus Chikungunya, and flaviviruses dengue and yellow fever). Additional diseases transmissible to humans by mosquitoes in Europe are dirofilariosis and, potentially, also malaria. Epidemiological surveillance of mosquito-borne infectious diseases is therefore recommendable.
